Individual Business 5 and 10 hours per week
Over the winter, our Business courses combine individual or closed group Business English classes in the afternoons with General English in the mornings. Business Courses are designed just for that student or group, and we plan what you study with us before you start. You can study Business 5, which combines General English classes with 5 hours of Business English per week, or Business 10, which combines General English with 10 hours of Business English per week.

Class Times PM: 2:00 – 4:40 (classes have a 10 minute break, free Tea and Coffee)

Closure Dates: Public Holidays on 10 April, 13 April, 8 May, 25 May and 31 August, 2020. You invoice will not include any School or Public Holidays that fall within your period of study with us.

What is Business English?
Business English is any English we use in a Business, such as writing emails, reports, giving presentations, or telephoning people. It can also refer to classes taught for specific sectors, such as Banking, Finance, Legal or Marketing.
What will I study on my course?
We agree what you will study before you start your course. We will encourage you to think about what you need to learn to move your business forward, and your course is then based on that.
What Level is a Business English course?
Over the Winter, we groups and individuals at B2 / FCE or C1 / CAE level, so that you can combine Business English with General English classes in the morning.

Will my teacher know about running a business?
Yes. At Richmond English School, we are a specialist Business English provider, and many of our teachers have worked in or run businesses.
Where is Richmond English School based?
We are based in Mortlake Business Centre in the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames. It’s a multi-office business centre, housing around 50 small companies, whose atmosphere gives you a good feel for working within an English-speaking business environment.
