RES: So, what's your name?
Kamila Pretka: My name is Kamila.
RES: Where are you from?
Kamila Pretka: I'm from Pniewy. It's a small town in the west of Poland, near Poznan. It's about 3 hours east of
Berlin by car.
RES: And how long have you been in the UK?
Kamila Pretka: Not so long, around 5 months.
RES: What do you do?
Kamila Pretka: I'm the new school manager at Richmond English school.
I manage the day to day operations of the school.
RES: How has it been so far?
Kamila Pretka: Really good. I'm really enjoying London, it's a great city. The school is also good although we have ups and downs. It's a really intensive job, and sometimes the day isn't long enough!
RES: What are the students like? Are they nice to you?
Kamila Pretka: Yeah, they're always friendly. It makes the job a nice one to have.
RES: So, where are the cleverest ones from?
Kamila Pretka: Poland, obviously!
RES: What's your favourite thing about London?
Kamila Pretka: Erm, I don't know actually. I don't think I really have one favourite thing.
RES: In which case, do you have a least favourite thing?
Kamila Pretka: Yes, it's always raining!
RES: Don't say that Kamila. Everybody knows the UK has more sunshine than any other European country ; )
Kamila Pretka: Ha, ha…
RES: Are you going to be doing any travelling this summer?
Kamila Pretka: Yes, Panama this Easter.
RES: Gosh, that sound's exciting, why Panama?
Kamila Pretka: Well, its something new!
RES: And why not? or Porque no, as the might say there. Do have fun in Panama, and don't forget to buy me a hat. That's the end of
our minute. Many thanks Kamila.
Kamila Pretka: Thanks.
